Catch Up

TOO many, if not all, articles, books, media, etc., treat the Jan 6th rioters as a problem that was created or congealed out of itself. They frame the Jan 6th rioters as being a creation of racism and propaganda. They put these people inside a bubble of their own creation.

NOW, the problem of course is that it’s their fault and they refuse to acknowledge that, and so it will never change. The unfortunate truth is that the Jan 6th rioters were right. The government does indeed need to be overthrown. So tell me, have they done enough to be overthrown? Jared Kushner purposefully sentenced millions to death because he was told that the virus would hit cities harder than rural areas. That is murder. What the fuck are we talking about!? 

WITHOUT regard for the strength of will, of whether or not the crime is worth the time, so to speak, it’s just how it is that that person should be held accountable! I don’t mean that in a personal or even malicious way, honestly. It’s just that the arguments are dumb. We don’t need to argue, this has happened before. We’ve been here before. There are concrete steps, already laid out from the past, that we can take. I just don’t understand why we’re still talking! 

I feel as though we shouldn’t even be that concerned about the situation. I feel a bit ho-hum about it. It’s less like discovering a revolution; it’s like paint-by-numbers. Why isn’t it just a white blood cell reaction? Why aren’t we chill about it?

ALL that needs to happen is holding people accountable. These people are available. Why aren’t we holding them accountable? The government and the court system are rigged and we all just accept that? Why would we believe that it is sustainable? Why wouldn’t we react logically, given that this has happened before, and just do the thing? 

WHY does everyone think the Jan 6th rioters were being unreasonable? 

BECAUSE they believe that it is “new” despite what I’ve previously stated that all of this has happened before and we know how to deal with it. When did the roots of the Jan 6th rioters first form? During the fucking bailout. In 2008. 

RATHER than do the very basic “capitalist” thing and let the banks die the way they should, the government gave them the poor’s money. So that’s when Jan 6th started. Did that only affect the far right? Conspiratorial thought has nothing to do with an individual cause, and everything to do with the government creating the next Gilded Age. The *final* Gilded Age one way or another. 

JAN 6TH didn’t happen before Covid. Jan 6th happened after the government’s response to Covid was a giant middle finger. Does anyone start there? No, everyone starts with these people “discovering” how fucking racist they are, and then being pushed to rabid edges by furious liars. Rather than being pushed to rabid edges with seemingly nowhere else to turn but those furious liars, because at least they express the emotion you feel at being fucked over by the other, smooth liars. 

WHAT fucking world can we possibly live in where we do not recognize the government’s theft, graft, warcrimin’, ABORTION-BANNING, and realize that overthrow of the government is the *only* rational response. What part of the fucking world is on fire do we not understand? And they are facilitating still more! There is no time!

I don’t particularly care how the government is overthrown. The best possible situation would be some sort of silent agreement from an overwhelming number of people to remove the government, elect a new one, and page one rewrite. Will that happen? Of course not. 

WILL Jan 6th happen again? I doubt it. What will happen is they will win. Not because they have any semblance of ability or intelligence to do so, but because they are the right amount of desperate. And we are not.
